By booking an appointment or renting any item from Peek This Dress, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Peek reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time without prior notice.
Booking Fees & Appointments
- A booking fee is required to confirm your appointment.
- Booking fees are non-refundable, and will be forfeited in the event of cancellation or if less than 24 hours’ notice is given for rescheduling.

Booking fees and appointments are non-transferrable.
Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit is required for each rental item, regardless of whether the customer is renting on a per-dress basis or as part of a package.
- The deposit must be fully paid in advance to confirm the dress reservation.
- Deposit refunds will be processed within 5 working days upon return of the dress in its original, acceptable condition, as verified by the Peek team.

The deposit will be partially or fully forfeited in the following cases:
- Unrepairable damage, loss, or alterations (see Appendix A),
- Late return,
- Non-return, or

Failure to pay assessed repair / damage charges.
- All assessments are at Peek’s sole discretion and final.
Dress Selection & Condition Confirmation

Upon dress selection, customers must inspect and acknowledge the condition of the item (including embellishments, stitching, zippers, fabric integrity).

The Peek team will document and photograph the condition for our internal records.
- Customers have a 6-hour window from time of pick-up or delivery (including collection from Arcoris Soho Lobby) to raise any defects not previously recorded.

If no issues are raised within the 6-hour period, the dress will be deemed fully accepted in its recorded condition.
Rental Duration, Pick-Up & Returns
Operating Hours:
Monday & Wednesday-Saturday (11am - 7pm)
Sundays (11am - 5pm)

Standard rental duration is 4 days, starting from the date of collection.

Late returns will incur a daily charge of RM40, which will be automatically deducted from the deposit.

Failure to return the item within 7 days from due date may result in:
- Deposit forfeiture,
- A full replacement charge (100% of the dress' rental fee or value), and
- Legal action if necessary.
Exchanges, Cancellations & Refunds
- Exchanges are permitted once, for dresses of the same tier or higher (subject to availability and additional charges).
- No refunds are given for downgrades to a lower-tier dress.
- After full payment (rental fee + deposit), no cancellations or refunds are permitted. However, the total amount may be converted into Peek store credit (valid for 6 months) to be used for another rental.

Store credit is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable for cash.
Delivery, Collection & Liability
- Customers may opt to use third-party delivery services for pick-up or return.
- Peek does not provide in-house delivery and is not liable for any loss, delay, or damage caused during transit.
- Customers are to arrange for their own third-party delivery services.
- Customers bear full responsibility once the dress leaves our premises, regardless of delivery method.

We strongly recommend inspecting and photographing the dress immediately upon delivery.
Alterations & Modifications
- No alterations, modifications, or styling changes (e.g., pinning, sewing, cutting, hemming) may be made to rented items without written approval from Peek.

Unauthorized alterations will be treated as damage, and the customer will be liable for full repair or replacement costs.
Loss, Damage, and Charges (Appendix A)

Customers are expected to return dresses in clean, undamaged, and wearable condition. Items must be free of:
- Stains (food, oil, makeup, etc.),
- Tears or holes,
- Burn marks or piling,

Structural damage to zippers, boning, or embellishments.
Damage & Repair Charges (% of Rental Fee)
In the event of damage, the customer will be charged an additional fee, calculated as a percentage of the rental fee. These charges are separate from the security deposit and must be paid within the specified time frame. If payment is not received, it will be deducted from the customer’s deposit.

Liability Waiver & Rights Reserved
- Peek shall not be held liable for any allergic reactions, bodily injury, or wardrobe malfunctions resulting from the wear of rented items.
- Peek reserves the right to decline service to any customer at its sole discretion, especially in the event of prior breach of terms or abuse of policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any disputes shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
